2026–2027 Studio & Payment Policy
Juan Piano Studio offers private piano instruction at three convenient locations: Blaine, St. Paul, and Eden Prairie. This policy outlines the tuition structure, payment schedule, attendance expectations, and summer and withdrawal policies for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Lesson Schedule
- The academic year includes 34-36 lessons, excluding major holidays.
- Lessons are divided into four equal payments, each covering 9 lessons.
- No refunds will be issued for missed lessons.
- A $50 late fee will be charged for payments not received by the due date.

- Payment 1: September 1–8, 2026
- Payment 2: November 3–10, 2026
- Payment 3: January 19–26, 2027
- Payment 4: March 30–April 6, 2027

Holiday Breaks (No Lessons)
- September 7 Labor Day
- Oct. 24 Out of Town
- November 26–28 Thanksgiving Break
- December 21–January 1 Christmas & New Year
- March 8–11 Spring Break
- April 4 & 5 MTNA Conference
- May 31 Memorial Day
Summer Lessons (June–August)
To maintain progress and reserve your spot for the next school year, students are required to enroll in a minimum of 6 summer lessons. Exceptions can be made for extended international travel or special camp participation—please communicate in advance for approval.
CancellaEon & Rescheduling Policy
- No refunds will be given for student absences or cancellations.
- Students are financially responsible for missed lessons, including during Spring Break if they choose to travel.
- Make-up lessons may be offered based on teacher availability and other cancellations within a two-week period but are not guaranteed.
- Snow days: If a government-issued snow emergency occurs, lessons will be held online.
- If the teacher cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled or credited.
Withdrawal Policy
Juan Piano Studio is committed to working with families who value consistent music education. If you choose to withdraw:
- No refund will be issued for remaining lessons within the current 9-lesson cycle.
- A minimum one-month notice is required.
