Welcome! I'm Dr. Tina Park-Pianist, Educator, and Artistic Director
With a passion for cultivating musical excellence and a deep commitment to inspiring the next generation of artists, I bring a multifaceted background as a concert pianist, dedicated educator, and founder of the Bethel University Summer Piano Academy.
Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and University of Minnesota, I now serve as Assistant Professor of Piano at Bethel University, where I teach applied piano and piano class. My teaching philosophy centers around nurturing expressive artistry, technical refinement, and personal growth in each student. My students have have been recognized in regional and national competitions and have gone to to pursue music at top conservatories and universities.
Beyond the classroom, I am an active performer and collaborator, with a repertoire that spans solo, chamber, masterclasses, and adjudicate competitions across the U.S.
In 2024, I found the Bethel University Summer Piano Academy, a vibrant residential program that welcomes young pianists for an immersive week of music-making, mentorship, and community. The academy continues to grow each year, offering students transformative opportunities to perform, collaborate, and connect with distinguished faculty members.
